Each of us is on a journey, or more accurately put, many journeys as we move through life. One of these is the journey into ourselves, finding what moves us, what nourishes us, and what makes us feel whole. Join me for a weekend of yoga postures, meditation, ritual, and sound, as we move deeply into stillness, while nestled in the beauty of Salt Spring Island. Open to those new to yoga, and experienced yogis!
The Weekend Retreat includes:

What is Toning?
Toning is the creation of extended vocal sounds on a single vowel in order to experience the sound and its effects on the body. It is simple and accessible to everyone regardless of vocal ability or training.
Benefits of Toning
Toning massages the body from the inside out. It can help you focus and relax; move energy in the body; relieve tension and improve concentration.

This Self Care for Women Workshop provides practical tools to relieve stress and tension, and plant the seeds for a regular routine of self-care and mindful living. The session will include a discussion of the key concepts of Self Care, along with gentle movement, and simple breathing and relaxation exercises to help you befriend your body, calm your mind and experience greater peace and vitality. Wear loose comfortable clothing.
